Blue Nectar is our non-heated traditional yoga studio. Blue is the coolest, most soothing of colors – representing the sky, ocean, twilight, and heaven. It is the color of inspiration and sincerity – two qualities we are confident you will feel when you walk in the door of our welcoming environment. You will move and you will breathe, you will stretch, and you will strengthen, from the inside out.

The energy of this color allows for perspective – the ability to look beyond and outward. Blue counters chaos and agitation and allows for clear communication, and feelings of peace. And the word nectar? A sweet life-giving blend. The juice within. We love it here.

VINYASA FLOW YOGA - LEVEL 1/2

An energizing flow yoga class that links breath and movement while maintaining a balanced focus on alignment. Students will find sun salutations, challenging sequences, backbends, arm balances, deeper stretches, and more. Options and modifications are provided, so you can explore the full mind/body experience. Mixed level (1/2), familiarity with basic flow yoga postures is encouraged.

HATHA YOGA - LEVEL 1/2

Coming soon! With a focus on alignment, increase body awareness, strength, and flexibility while refining foundational yoga postures. This class will also introduce more demanding postures that are sure to increase stamina. Slower pacing (when compared to vinyasa flow classes) allows for more time spent holding and aligning postures, often with props. Expect breath work and meditation. Mixed level (1/2), appropriate for all levels of participants.

ROOKIE VINYASA FLOW - LEVEL 1

Not everyone wants to be called a beginner, but we all have to start somewhere. Whether you’re just starting a yoga practice or prefer a foundational focus, this class will give you the physical and mental grounding for a safe, strong, injury-free vinyasa flow yoga practice. Learn or refine yoga postures, while syncing movement and breath. Level 1, yet appropriate for all levels of participants.

YIN YOGA - LEVEL 1

Coming soon! Yin yoga is a practice designed to stimulate the connective tissues and fascia. Yin postures invite surrender to the experience of holding each posture for 3-5 minutes while maintaining an awareness of the breath. The support of blankets, bolsters, and blocks are used when needed to accommodate each person's individual and unique needs of their physical body. Level 1, yet appropriate for all levels of participants.

RESTORATIVE YOGA - LEVEL 1

Your necessary dose of rest and recovery. Most of us know how to push really hard – it’s the slowing down that’s often difficult. Find a grounding blend of supported restorative poses, breathwork, and relaxation techniques that will relieve stress and tension, nourishing body and mind. Level 1, yet appropriate for all levels of participants.

YIN-YASA YOGA - LEVEL 1

Practice both yin and yang styles of yoga, creating the perfect balance in body and mind. Spend half of class in an energizing flow practice, connecting breath to movement and increasing overall flexibility and strength. The other half of class is spent in grounding yin postures, which are held longer and designed to open the dense connective tissues of the body. Level 1, yet appropriate for all levels of participants.

Mindful movement done at a slower pace allows time to explore the postures while cultivating stamina, strength, flexibility, balance, and calm. This dynamic yet regenerative class cultivates inner strength, relieving tension and calming body and mind. Level 1, yet appropriate for all levels of participants.

Just starting a yoga practice? Perhaps you've taken a long break out of the studio, or solely practiced online and need real-live guidance? No need to feel like a fish out of water – this is a foundational, welcoming class designed just for you! Learn the yoga postures and "how" to breathe better; sync breath/movement in a safe, welcoming environment. Class is appropriate for those newer-to-yoga. Experienced practitioners seeking a more basic practice are always welcome here, too.
