Jamie Argento

Jamie found her way to the mat several years ago to find balance in her life. As a former high level ball sport athlete, she was reluctant to give up the chase and to be still. At the outset, her most challenging pose was savasana (complete rest). It did not take long for her to receive the joy that yoga brought into her life. Jamie believes that yoga is a meandering journey – along the way we are empowered to feed our souls and our bodies while connecting with our community. She believes that yoga should be accessible to everyone and she aspires to pay it forward to honor the gifts of yoga that her teachers have presented to her throughout her years of practice. She invites students to find the peace to ground and the courage to soar in her strong, energetic, and soulful classes.

Jamie is a longtime member of the Nectar Yoga Studios cOMmunity and completed her 200-hour training with NYS in 2021. She is grateful for her teenagers, husband, and colleagues in the public defender community who enthusiastically support her on the yoga journey.
