Kellie fell in love with the benefits of yoga as a way help both the physical body and state of mind. While completing her PhD in Animal Science at Virginia Tech, she deepened her own yoga practice and pursued yoga teacher training. In 2018, she completed the Kunga Yoga 200-hour teacher training. Kellie’s teaching style is influenced by a culmination of her background in group fitness classes as well as Barken Method hot yoga. She brings mindful movements to her classes in a targeted way, designed to develop strength, flexibility, and mobility. Kellie strives to make her classes accessible to everyone and provides ways to for you to challenge yourself in your practice.
