Lori began practicing yoga more than 20 years ago to combat the body-pounding of distance running; then quickly realized that the benefits of a yogic lifestyle went far beyond stretching and workout recovery! After sporadic practice due to working, raising a family, and moving around the country (and world) with her USAF husband, she discovered hot yoga in 2014 and has been devoted ever since! She became certified to teach in 2019.
Lori’s education includes power vinyasa, 26+2 hatha style, and trauma-sensitive certifications. She brings her marathon and triathlon experience to the mat, with intense classes that focus on traditional yoga postures and flows to improve strength, flexibility, mobility, stability, and balance in the body. Equally important is her mission to guide fellow yogis to connect mind and body, for greater balance and more calm in daily living, and to connect with each other as a yoga community.
